{"id":193,"date":"2014-01-25T18:05:24","date_gmt":"2014-01-25T18:05:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.sauropipe.com\/en\/?p=193"},"modified":"2024-03-07T15:22:16","modified_gmt":"2024-03-07T15:22:16","slug":"mimmo-and-karin-in-my-workshop","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.sauropipe.com\/en\/mimmo-and-karin-in-my-workshop\/","title":{"rendered":"MIMMO AND KARIN IN MY WORKSHOP"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>From the 17th to the 24th of October this year, a merry gang of pipe makers gathered in my workshop: two established teachers, Mimmo Romeo and Karin, the \u201cyoung and promising\u201d Vincenzo Restivo, and myself.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a style=\"line-height: 1.5em\" href=\"https:\/\/www.sauropipe.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2014\/02\/Sauro-Romeo-Karin.jpg\"><img class=\"size-full wp-image-228 aligncenter\" alt=\"Sauro Romeo Karin\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sauropipe.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2014\/02\/Sauro-Romeo-Karin.jpg\" width=\"676\" height=\"507\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Those intense days, both from a personal and professional point of view, led to the production of two pipes: we were able to finish one and the other was left under my future care.<\/p>\n<p>Two of my pipes were improved with the help of everyone and they will be finished soon.<\/p>\n<p>In gatherings like these, the most surprising thing is that the exchange of experiences is never one-way. There\u2019s always a small tool or an ingenious variation on consolidated process methods that transforms the meeting from a simple information exchange, between the most talented and the newbies, into growth for everyone, admirals or sailors they may be.<\/p>\n<p><img class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-156\" alt=\"pipa restivo\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sauropipe.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2014\/01\/pipa-restivo-300x225.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\"><\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s a wonderful life lesson that, in the world of pipe makers, seems to happen quite frequently. Why, I wonder?
